So of all the self branding social media activities you can do, one very simple one is include a Gravatar with your comments and posts on blogs (either your own blog or ones you comment on).

If not familiar with the term ”Gravatar” it is a globally recognized avatar or cool image of yourself or company logo that you use to brand yourself. The Gravatar goes anywhere you make a post. So it’s a great thing to have especially if you have a marketing program that includes blog commenting.  Might as well leave your picture with your comments.

Setting up a Gravatar is easier than you think.

1. Head on over to Gravatar and set up a free account

 

2. When you sign up, use the email address that you want associated with your Gravatar account.

 

3. This means when you comment, your picture will magically appear besides your post.

 

4. Now every time you post a comment, you use that email and you have added in another tool to your branding efforts.
